· Amazon Customer. out of 5 stars. An album that dares to be polarizing. Reviewed in the United States on Ap. Verified Purchase. You don't make an album like this expecting it to be loved by all. You make an album like this knowing that half the people are going to dismiss it as disposable trash. The artist is not stupid/5().
The success of Saturdays = Youth and Hurry Up, We're Dreaming led M83's Anthony Gonzalez to even bigger, arguably less personal, projects like his score for the sci-fi blockbuster Oblivion, so it's no surprise that he reclaims his independence -- sometimes willfully so -- on the audacious opener "Do It, Try It," a fantasia of tweaked vocals, slap bass, and unapologetically cheap Brand: Mute U.S.

What an unfortunate travesty. Such an innovative act, ultimately succumbing to the triviality of everything that sucked about the 80's. A disposable and unmemorable listen, and M83's weakest release to date. "Junk" so aptly titled. My expectations on the album were low .
